PROBABLY COMES WITH A GOD COMPLEX.
WILL BE YOUR NUMBER ONE FAN.
I grew up in Mantova, a small town in northern Italy, surrounded by hugs, good coffee, lots of pasta, and wonderful friends.

I fell in love with photography when I was seven years old, and even if I didn’t yet understand its power to tell meaningful stories, I knew I wanted to use it for something impactful. When I became a scout at nine, I made a lifelong promise to serve others, and my camera became my way of keeping that promise.

As I got involved in more community projects, my passion for using photography to aid NGOs and shine a light on human rights and different realities around the world only grew stronger.

At 17, I left Italy and moved to the United States alone to study English and enrol in college, learning Spanish along the way. I studied and worked alongside incredible photographers and artists, earning degrees and gaining experience as a photographer, artist, videographer, professor, and artistic curator.

By 18, I had already launched my full-time photography business, capturing everything from intimate portraits to large-scale commercial projects.

I earned a BFA in Photography and Art from USU, minored in Economics, and hold a cinematography certification from UCLA. Over the years, I’ve mastered large-format film, 35mm, digital photography, retouching, graphic design, bookmaking, and historical photographic processes like wet plate collodion and cyanotypes.

But photography is more than a job—it’s my obsession.

When I’m not shooting for clients, I work on critical issues projects—from human rights to climate change. My award-winning thesis, Credimi, Chiamami, Vedimi, a documentary project on trans identities, has been exhibited in over six countries. I’ve won grants to document NGO work in Brazil and Malta, co-created a play merging theater with historical photographic techniques, and participated in climate research in Bear Lake, UT.

At USU, I was recognized as Talent of the Year, became the first non-scientist to win a Peak Fellowship, and even taught a photography course.

After years of working around the world, I’m now back in Italy, bringing my international experience and artistic vision to every project I take on.

WHAT'S IT LIKE WORKING WITH ME?
Let’s start by grabbing a coffee—or whatever you wish to consume—so we can chat about exactly what you want. I want to hear all about your vision, your ideas, and what you’re hoping to capture. We'll talk about your dreams and preferences, and I’ll create a Pinterest board tailored just for you, full of ideas to get the creative juices flowing.

During the shoot, the most important thing is that you feel 100% comfortable with me, and I’ll make sure of that. I’ll do whatever it takes to make you feel relaxed, whether that means cracking a joke, dancing around to break the ice, or being more embarrassing than you if you’re feeling shy (trust me, I’ll outdo you every time).

As your photographer, I’ll probably be jumping around, hyping you up, getting dirty, singing out loud, and—most likely—falling down. Nothing is off-limits with me, and I want you to feel free to be your full self.
My favorite question to break the ice is always: "What’s your story?"

I sure hope you’ll tell me yours.

With love,
Lele
